Hannah Twigger
My name is Hannah Twigger, I am 25 years of age and I live in Henley-on-Thames. I don't know where
to begin but all I know is I have a passion for travelling and I want to bring you along for the adventure!
Growing up me and my family rarely went on holidays, we loved the little bubble that we lived in and because of this I always saw the world as a tiny place. As I got older I knew there was more out
there for me to see whether that be solo or with friends.
Let me start by telling you a bit about where this all started... I left college and went straight into work, University just wasn't for me and I am okay with that. I went to work in a pre-school (which I had already been working in on my days off from college) and gained qualifications through that in childcare.
Through this I also became a childminder and receptionist on the side. I then went on to work one to one with children with special needs in a primary school (still continuing to childmind).
At one point in my life I was working 9am-8pm Mon-Fri and a few odd days off on the weekend, getting stuck into a routine and loving my jobs! Looking back now I wouldn't change it for the world, it really taught me so much about myself and my work ethics.
One day I woke up realising that I had been working so hard for so long and missed out on so many nights out or weekends away with friends/family all because I was working so hard at a young age.
I didn't know what to do, but I knew I didn't want to grow old regretting I hadn't seen the world around me. So In 2016 I quit my jobs and decided that I need to go travelling. I book a few trips little and often (with friends, partners and some solo) as well as sorting a ski season.
After so long of doing this I thought it would be a good idea to share some of my adventures/experiences and so I created this page, for myself and others around me to find out great places to visit, tips and tricks on things to do. Just a place to escape the day to day life of the real world.
This is going to be a site for EXPLORERS, WONDERS, TRAVELLERS & anyone that just wants too be nosy and to freely speak, ask questions & do research.
I am currently in Australia on my 417 working holiday visa and plan to be here for 2 years, I will be posting about my experiences here.
