A spontaneous trip to Sri Lanka with some friends which consist of relaxing by the beach or pool, drinking way too many pineapple juices and taking in the surroundings. We also met some of the incredible locals and even had a beautiful meal made for us by a local family. I had such an incredible time driving around in tuctucs, attempting to fish and attempting to cutting open coconuts. I definitely recommend it as a travel destination but I wouldn't say for families more so groups or couples. As I didn't see much to do for children apart for being poolside or by the beach. I would also be careful of the waves (they are stonger than they look!)
